The Sky Fountain is a wonderful collection of floating isles based atop a set of static clouds high up into the skies above the seas. Ancient winged warriors, children of the Empyrean realm live in these high-rise buildings, free from worry and sorrow as their winged nature makes them untouchable by most.
The Asaerne live in these barren clouds far from other civilisations, given the power to produce and create clouds that forever stay within the air, until civilization atop that cloud disappears. Hence, the places these Asaernes live are the only artificial places within the Iron Veil, rising and falling with time, showing its ruins deep beneath the seas.
Though not many have fallen, as the Asaerne are always numerous and filled with pride.

Those who reside within the sky fountain follow the Empyrean rulings, though they interpret them in different ways, creating an inner conflict about what the real rules are. The Sky Palace
The purest of Asaerne, who determine every other race inferior to themselves are the ones that reside within the high tops of the Sky Palace.
These Asaerne consider their Empyrean ancestors to be the absolute gods, and have hence created temples and palaces in accordance with their religion. They also have numerous universities for the study and expansion of Empyrean magics.
Those that reside within the Sky Palace rarely leave their holds, living for progress and learning, and expanding their arts and riches. When they do leave, it is either for garnering wealth or for war.

Cities of separated clouds have arisen in some parts, usually from bigger clouds that were not upkept by its residents making its parts slowly fall apart.
The residences atop these clouds are usually partially crumbling apart, or almost completely broken. Few important buildings remain fully intact through the separation and falling apart of the former city placed upon the cloud. To keep the clouds from falling apart too much, ropes or bridges are occasionally placed between them, allowing creatures that lack flight to cross. Even though these cities fall apart, Asaerne are still the main racial demographic.
There are certain cities of zephyr that were erected by the seers a long time ago, which are closer to the ground and are made of dirt. These islands are made of rock, and more of these cannot be made. The racial demographic on these is usually more mixed, due to them being closer to the ground.
